TEAMS AND VENUES SET FOR INAUGURAL MINOR LEAGUE CRICKET PLAYOFFS

  • Eight teams to meet in the Conference Semi-finals on Sept. 25-26, competing for $250,000 in prize money
  • Best of three matches will stream live on Willow TV’s YouTube and digital platforms

Minor League Cricket announced today the schedule and venues for the 2021 playoffs in America’s historic first nationwide T20 competition. Eight teams will compete to be crowned the inaugural champion of the Toyota Minor League Cricket Championship presented by SLING TV in Morrisville, NC on Oct. 3.

 

The Conference Semi-finals will take place this weekend at four locations, featuring the top two teams from the four divisions following the conclusion of the regular season on Sept. 19. All matches are free to attend for fans at each venue and will be available to watch at no charge on Willow TV’s YouTube and digital platforms.

The matchups, to be played as best of three series, are as follows (all times local):

ATLANTIC CONFERENCE

Atlanta Fire vs. Empire State Titans
Atlanta Cricket Field, Cumming, GA

  • Game 1 – Saturday, September 25 – 10 a.m.
  • Game 2 – Saturday, September 25 – 2.30 p.m.
  • Game 3 (if required) – Sunday, September 26 – 11 a.m.

New Jersey Stallions vs. Morrisville Cardinals
Church Street Park, Morrisville, NC

  • Game 1 – Saturday, September 25 – 11 a.m.
  • Game 2 – Saturday, September 25 – 5 p.m.
  • Game 3 (if required) – Sunday, September 26 – 11 a.m.

PACIFIC CONFERENCE

2021 MiLC Playoffs

The four Conference Semi-final winners will progress to the first Minor League Cricket finals weekend, to take place Oct. 2-3 at Church Street Park in Morrisville, NC. The scenic venue will host the Conference Finals on Saturday Oct. 2, with single elimination games taking place at 10 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. respectively.

The Championship final, a single game with the title on the line, will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3. Entry is free though fans are encouraged to RSVP at finals.minorleague.cricket to receive important information to plan ahead for their visit.
